Experience the culture, ski the nunataqs, discover Greenland

Greenland is far away from anything you have ever experienced. The best way to access these pristine mountains is by sail boat. On this expedition you will definitely appreciate the luxury of cruising around with on an solid ship, cherry picking the best ski objectives along the coast. Experience the amazing culture on the island along with our local staff, the breathtaking views, and the amazing skiing. All the time accompanied by experienced IFMGA guides from Northern Alpine Guides.

Area of operation: Our trips start in the village of Manitsuuq on the West coast of Greenland.  From here we have an amazing week itinerary skiing in the many fjords and islands just North of Manitsuuq. Depending on destination and current weather conditions, we will start the day with a good breakfast, organize our equipment and get ready to chase the powder. Most of the peaks are glaciated and between 750-1800 m staring at the beach. We'll enjoy the stunning views and the long days in the mountains. When we are back down to the boat again, it’s time for dinner, chilling, fishing, sailing and planning the next destination.

This trip is for those looking for a high end ski and sail experience.

This trip is not cheap and we don’t put our groups in crammed quarters of small sail boats not designed for winter use.  We can provide for group sizes of 6-10 pax and offer a trip with focus on the details wether its the quality of the food, or the comfort of your bed at night, we don’t cut corners on this program.  If preferred we can provide 2 guides on the trip. Guiding Ratio6 clients:1 guide or 10:2 is our maximum ratio for this Ski and Sail program.
